POLYAMIDE 6.6 is a HYGROSCOPIC resin, therefore, like POLYAMIDE 6, it easily absorbs water from the environment although to a lesser extent, this can be considered an advantage as it allows the product to acquire flexibility and impact resistance.
The main thermoplastics we use are:
POLYAMIDE NYLON 6 Reinforced with 30% glass fibres
-High mechanical resistance
-Abrasion resistance and chemical resistance-UL class self-extinguishing. 94 = HB (happy burning)
-Dielectric strength according to ASTM D149 standards = 21 MV/m
-Water absorption 24h, ASTM D570 standards = 1%
- Continuous operating temperatures 20000 h = 110° -130° C short term = 175° C IEC 216 standards
- Continuous operating temperature without stress according to IEC 85 standards at 20000 h = 155° C class (F)
POLYAMIDE NYLON 6.6 Heat stabilized reinforced with 30% glass fibres
-High mechanical resistance
-Abrasion resistance and chemical resistance
-UL class self-extinguishing. 94 = HB (happy burning).
-Dielectric strength according to IEC 243 standards - 1 = 38 KV/mm
-Water absorption 24 h, ASTM D570 standards = 0.9 %
-Continuous operating temperatures 20000 h = 133° C to 3000 h = 170° C IEC 216 standards
- Continuous operating temperature without stress according to IEC 85 standards at 20000 h = 155° C class (F)

-Dielectric strength according to ASTM D149 standards =18 MV/m

-Dielectric strength according to ASTM D149 standards = 22 MV/m
-Water absorption 24h, ASTM D149 standards = 0.75%
- Continuous operating temperatures 20000 h = 130° C short term = 180° C IEC 216 standards
